Welcome to Upstate New York Psychology Practice
I serve all my patients with personalized care.
You will not be treated like any other patient. My clinic is mindful to serve a limited number of clients meaning you will receive careful attention.
Your care is important.
Who do I serve?
Treatment is tailored to individual circumstances and diagnosis. Treatment information relevant to each demographic experiencing stress, anxiety, or related disorders are outlined on each service page for children, teens, and adults. Additionally, I provide services for parents and professionals who are experiencing stress, anxiety, or burnout as a result of their responsibilities and roles.
My Approach
The treatment models I use have shown success through clinical trials.
Together we will identify, challenge, and modify problematic patterns, thoughts, and behavior that interfere with your life satisfaction. I will also introduce you to techniques that can permanently alter old emotional learnings. They disarm the mechanisms of past conditioning that fuel current undesirable patterns. This disarming of old conditioning is now known as therapeutic memory reconsolidation and has a direct and long-term impact on the brain and behavior. To achieve these aims, I employ Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Emotion and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Coherence Therapy.
I want you to get the care you deserve.
You can expect your treatment with me to:
Be warm, collaborative, and highly interactive attuned to your experiences and available supports
Emphasize the exploration and transformation of perceptions (of others, experiences, and identity beliefs), communication, problem resolution, and growth based on your values and deep aspirations
Challenge your beliefs around certainty and fears that are holding you back from the life you desire
Provide you with science-based tools for parenting a child with anxiety
Use mindfulness and contemplative approaches for profound relaxation, stepping back from automatic responses, exploring compassion, self-acceptance, and unfolding your full potential
