What’s in the Treatment?

I use a variety of treatment modalities to help you. I use Family Systems, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and neuropsychological techniques known as Coherence Therapy.

Our approach to parenting work is grounded in a framework which is sensitive to your children’s developmental level and incorporates tools from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness. The program is flexible and tailored to each unique child-parent dynamic.

Dr. Morton has accumulated years of experience in pediatric care across hospital systems, schools, and community mental health settings. She has worked extensively with parents and children facing various pediatric concerns, spanning from educational concerns, mental health diagnoses to medical issues that have impacted the entire family system. Dr. Morton understands that, more often than not, parents are looking to survive their days with their children, but ultimately, they envision a family life that looks very different from their day-to-day experiences.
